Have you ever taken a vacation and not wanted to leave? That’s what happened to me on the Yellowstone River one warm, sunny August afternoon in 2016. I wasn’t really sure what my plan was, but knew I was being called to move out West. This 4thgeneration Texan had her Suburban packed up, house rented out, and said all the goodbyes in less than 2 weeks of that return flight to Houston.
For the first time in my life, I didn’t have a plan. All I knew was that I craved this mountain-town, slower pace of life. Strangers waving to one other driving down dirt roads, the joyous energy of locals and tourists bustling around a true Main Street, incredible opportunities to experience NATURE – up close and personal… I wanted it all!
It only made sense that I would make a career out of sharing this life with others.
My folks passed down a lot of straight shooting, no nonsense entrepreneurial business acumen. With a degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin, I spent 20+ years in customer service. I purchased my first home and got into the short-term rental market. The skills that I acquired on my varied professional and geographical path (including Texas, New York, & Montana) have led me to a fulfilling career as a REALTOR in Big Sky Country.
With the nature of this ever-fluctuating business, I love staying current on real estate trends overall, as well as how our bubble in Bozeman contradicts or conforms to those patterns. I’m fortunate to wake up and do something I love every day; and truly grateful that I can call this magical mountain town home.
